Description about Curios API (Forge)
Curios Mod: Minecraft API Library for Inventory Slots
Curios mod is another library Minecraft mod in Minecraft. With over 28,000,000 downloads, Curios doesn’t add any new content such as mobs, items, blocks into the game. Instead, Minecraft Curios is an expandable and flexible equipment API for modders and users.
When you first install Curios, you don’t see any changes to the inventory GUI and slots because you need to configure and code. So how useful Curios Minecraft is? Without it, many modders must go through the hard way and code from the beginning to create a new slot in the inventory, but Curios Forge already did that to reduce avoidable redundancy while coding. Developers can easily create new slots, change color, position, size, visibility, and a lot more!
Curios mod also makes it easy and compatible with vanilla Minecraft by using the same tag system and integration with vanilla inventory mechanics. For example, the developer can specify which items or item tags can be equipped in the new slot. And that new slot also works with some special enchantments like Mending or Cursed of Binding.
Minecraft Curios mod actually has some default slot that they’re all prepared and just need the developer to pull it out to use in their modpack. They are head, necklace, back, body, bracelet, hands, ring, belt, charm, and curio slot. You can see there are a lot already, and you can even create more without any problems! And if you need extra slots without code, here are some of the mods that use Curios API: Curious Elytra, Curious Shulker Boxes, and Curio of Undying.
Note: Need to install more required mods to use the best Mods, all must use the same version
